Helvetica
There is a fascinating show on TV right now about the typeface helvetica and how it was developed. But I fell asleep before it started sitting up on the couch and reading, so I missed the beginning of the show. But next time that comes around I’ll be sure to watch it because I’ve always found typefaces fascinating. And I always wanted to design my own. I carved a rubber stamp alphabet once and I still use it from time to time. I’d love to have that converted into my very own computer font only I don’t know how to do that. Does anyone else know?
I also created my own unique alphabet, substituting a different glyph for the conventional alphabet. I had memorized it for a while but over the years I’ve forgotten it, remembering only the letter ‘f’ and the letter ‘a’ because those are the first two letters of my name and I used to sign my paintings with the symbols. I’m sure I wrote it down in one of my journals but I so rarely go back and read them. I should read them more of
