A Slice of My Life in Winter
I live in Anaheim CA. The weather looked like we were about to have a storm any moment so I hurried on to the grocery store so I could get home before the rain started. The store was packed with holiday shoppers desperately trying to get a few more items before the hungry hoards of relatives descended upon them. That was about 3:30 PM. Now it’s 9 PM and still no rain. The storm is moving down the coast from Santa Barbara and I’m sure it will get here eventually. Happily my boyfriend just got home from work so I’m glad he missed the rain too. The biggest threat is to homes in the burn areas. They are on mud watch. The mountains will get lots of snow and make the snowboarders and skiers very happy. I plan to stay indoors tomorrow and make cookies and a cherry pie and some raisin bread. I’m suddenly in the mood to bake. Oh and brownies, can’t forget the brownies.
